Chaque année, l’association Sud Ouest Solidarité organise un concert pour récolter des fonds afin d’aider des associations qui œuvrent pour une cause. Le concert de fin d’année, ce vendredi 15 décembre au Rocher Palmer, mettra en scène 150 choristes des Chœurs de France Atlantique avec des chants de Noël profanes et religieux.

Cette année, le concert de Sud Ouest Solidarité, vendredi 15 décembre, au profit de la précarité étudiante, mettra en scène les Chœurs de France AtlantiqueEn cette fin 2023, l’association issue du journal « Sud Ouest » s’accorde avec les travaux de la rédaction qui aborde régulièrement les sujets de la précarité étudiante. Les fonds récoltés lors de cette soirée seront entièrement reversés à six associations qui viennent en aide aux étudiants en situation de précarité. Elles interviennent dans des domaines tels que la précarité alimentaire, de logement, de chauffage ainsi que la santé physique et psychique des étudiants.
La précarité étudiante a explosé cette année. Une enquête menée par Linkee, association d’aide alimentaire aux étudiants en France, montre que plus de 90 % de ces jeunes vivent sous le seuil de pauvreté, puisque disposant d’un budget de moins de 1 000 euros par mois. À Bordeaux, Linkee organise une fois par semaine une distribution alimentaire. Deux tonnes de denrées issues de la récupération d’invendus sont proposées aux étudiants qui se sont préalablement inscrits.

« Sud Ouest Solidarité est une des rares associations qui puissent reverser l’intégralité des contributions des concerts, car nous sommes logés dans les locaux de l’imprimerie du journal ‘‘Sud Ouest’’, ce qui diminue forcément nos frais, explique Christian Bonnet, son président. Ainsi, le journal contribue à sa manière à l’aide aux plus démunis. »
Sud Ouest Solidarité a été créée en 1947 par le fondateur de « Sud Ouest », Jacques Lemoine. Elle a toujours œuvré pour venir en aide aux plus démunis sur le territoire aquitain. Sud Ouest Solidarité s’est notamment engagée aux côtés de la rédaction pour récolter des fonds pour les victimes de la guerre en Ukraine. Le concert du 15 décembre est organisé grâce au soutien de la Ville de Cenon et du Rocher de Palmer.

Marchés « 100 % solidaires » : le Département de la Gironde et France Bleu repartent en tournée

Le chef Jésus, de France Bleu, et un auditeur composent un panier de 30 euros.« SO »Le principe est rodé : tous les jours, un auditeur de France Bleu et le chef Jésus Hurtado, personnage emblématique de la radio, composent en direct sur l’antenne (dans la matinale de l’émission « La Vie en bleu ») tout un menu – entrée, plat, dessert – avec des produits choisis sur les étals des producteurs du marché. Le tout, pour un budget de seulement 30 euros. Puis ils cuisinent ensemble ces plats simples, faciles à reproduire, avant la dégustation conviviale à la fin du marché. Puis le Département de la Gironde remet à une association caritative l’équivalent de ces dix paniers. Et comme les clients du marché peuvent proposer des dons supplémentaires, à la fin de la tournée, le Département désignera le marché « le plus généreux ».
